Pomona earned a win when they beat Highlands Ranch 30-20 on Friday.

Ian Dexter led Pomona’s passing attack with 55 yards through the air. Dexter also added 73 yards on the ground. Jack Pospisil was also Pomona’s leading receiver on the day.

Pospisil paced the Pomona ground game by accumulating 93 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 8.5 yards per carry. Pospisil also tacked on 51 receiving yards and one touchdown. Ben Cruz added 85 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 8.5 yards per carry.

Jake Rubley led Highlands Ranch’s passing attack with 209 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns and two interceptions. Rubley’s most prolific receiver in the game was Konor Lathrop, who caught five passes for 72 yards and one score. Kole Lundquist got in on the action in the passing game as well, hauling in one ball for 53 yards.

Dylan Gurule spearheaded the Highlands Ranch ground game by finishing with 56 yards in the game.

Next up for each team, Highlands Ranch will play host to Rock Canyon, while Pomona will travel to play Lakewood.
