Las Animas couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Hoehne squad, losing by a score of 64-6 on Friday.
Weston Hill led Hoehne’s passing attack with 196 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Hill also added 100 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Hill’s most relied on target in the contest was Grant Arellanes, who caught five passes for 121 yards. Antonio Moltrer contributed in the passing game as well, reeling in three passes for 66 yards and one touchdown.
Hoehne was lead by Michael Armijo and his 95 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 10.6 yards per carry.
In their next games, Hoehne will stay home and play Fowler, while Las Animas will travel to play Wiley.
