Hayden narrowly lost to Plateau Valley in a 20-18 contest on Friday.

Emmet Kuper led Plateau Valley’s aerial attack with 75 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown without an interception. Matthew Allen was also Plateau Valley’s leading receiver on the day.

Justice Kuper spearheaded the Plateau Valley ground game by finishing with 109 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. Allen added 97 yards on the ground, averaging 6.5 yards per carry, as well as 75 receiving yards and one touchdown. Payton Ferganchick added 90 yards and one touchdown, averaging 6.4 yards per carry.

Plateau Valley will stay home and play Soroco, while Hayden will travel to play Vail Christian.
