Gilpin County couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Soroco squad, losing by a score of 58-0 on Friday.
In addition to Tyler Wixom’s effort, Jesse Koler paced the Soroco ground game by racking up 57 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 9.5 yards per carry. Kody Logan chipped in with 54 yards and one touchdown, averaging 13.5 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, Gilpin County will play host to Plateau Valley, while Soroco will travel to play Plateau Valley.
