Center handed John Mall a loss in a 19-6 showdown on Friday, Sept. 27.
Abraham Echauri spearheaded the Center ground game by running for 129 yards in the game, averaging 9.2 yards per carry. Devin Porres added 91 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 5.1 yards per carry.
John Mall quarterback Wesley Van Matre led the passing attack with 48 yards through the air. Van Matre also added 153 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Dj Van Matre lead all John Mall receivers with one catch for 48 yards.
In addition to Wesley Van Matre’s effort, Francisco Figueroa lead the John Mall ground game by racking up 17 yards in the game, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
Center will stay home and play Centauri, while John Mall will travel to play Trinidad.
