The Denver Outlaws are heading back to the Major League Lacrosse Championship game after beating the Boston Cannons 17-15 Friday night at Barton Lacrosse Stadium in Denver.

The Outlaws were led by veteran John Grant Jr., who had five goals, followed by Chris Aslanian with four, Zach Currier with three and Mikie Schlosser with two.

With the victory over the Cannons, the Outlaws now have their eyes set on back-to-back titles Sunday when they take on the Chesapeake Bayhawks.

The Bayhawks will be playing for their sixth MLL championship, so the Outlaws are sure to have their hands full.

Faceoff is set for 11 a.m. Sunday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City.
