Fairview beat Rock Canyon by a score of 28-19 on Friday, Sept. 27 at Christian Recht Field.
Aidan Atkinson led Fairview’s passing attack with 344 yards through the air, throwing three touchdowns and two interceptions. Fairview’s leading receiver was Grant Page, who caught 10 passes for 212 yards and three scores.
Dillon Tarves spearheaded the Fairview ground game by finishing with 119 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 7.4 yards per carry. Tarves also tacked on 51 receiving yards.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fairview heading to play Legacy and Rock Canyon taking on Highlands Ranch.
