Prairie couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Fleming squad, losing by a score of 60-20 on Saturday.
Kade Comstock powered Fleming’s passing attack with 132 yards through the air, tossing five touchdowns with no interceptions. Fleming’s leading receiver was Eric Resendiz, who caught three passes for 81 yards and three scores.
Fleming’s ground game was lead by Brandon Williams who tallied 178 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 8.9 yards per carry.
Mitch Dollerschell led Prairie’s aerial attack with 95 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Prairie’s leading receiver was Arek Wulf, who caught three passes for 62 yards.
Prairie’s ground attack was spearheaded by Claytin Hove who tallied 19 yards in the game, averaging 6.3 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, Prairie will stay home and play Otis, while Fleming will travel to play Encampment.
