Fort Collins earned a win when they defeated Poudre 35-31 on Friday, Sept. 27.

Fort Collins quarterback Hayden Iverson led the passing attack with 223 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and three interceptions. Iverson also added 84 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Hayden Iverson’s favorite receiver in the game was Dorion McGarity, who caught 10 passes for 122 yards. Josh Leone contributed in the passing game as well, snagging three passes for 90 yards and one touchdown.

Fort Collins’ rushing attack was lead by Aaron Van Metre and his 23 yards .

Sergio Tarango led Poudre’s passing attack with 110 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and one interception. Tarango also added 41 yards on the ground. Triston Burkett lead all Poudre receivers with five catches for 89 yards and one score.

Tate Satterfield paced all Poudre rushers with 115 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Fort Collins hosting Broomfield and Poudre taking on Rocky Mountain.
