Golden easily defeated Aurora Central by a score of 47-20 on Thursday at NACC.
Joey Mancuso powered Golden’s passing attack with 237 yards through the air, throwing four touchdowns with no interceptions. Mancuso also added 47 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Dylan Maddox lead all Golden receivers with two receptions for 65 yards and one score. Kevin Mulligan got involved in the passing game as well, hauling in three balls for 58 yards and one touchdown.
Golden was lead by Dejour Dubois and his 27 yards in the game, averaging 4.5 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Golden hosting Grand Junction and Aurora Central taking on Gateway.
Aurora Central has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
