Grandview easily defeated Mullen by a score of 42-12 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Grandview’s rushing attack was lead by Noah Schmidt who accrued 253 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. Schmidt also tacked on 34 receiving yards.
Mullen quarterback Kaleb Valdez-lemos led the passing attack with 93 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and two interceptions. Ben Marcoux lead all Mullen receivers with four catches for 67 yards and one score.
Damien Cearns paced all Mullen rushers with 20 yards in the contest.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Grandview heading to play Eaglecrest and Mullen taking on Columbine.
