Horizon couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Regis Jesuit squad, losing by a score of 34-13 on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Regis Jesuit quarterback Nicco Marchiol led the passing attack with 230 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Marchiol also added one touchdown on the ground. Regis Jesuit’s leading receiver was Bryce Sloan, who caught six passes for 84 yards and one score. Jackson Connelly got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in four passes for 52 yards.

David Dody spearheaded the Regis Jesuit rushing attack by finishing with 102 yards in the contest, averaging 8.5 yards per carry. Dody also tacked on 41 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Looking ahead to their next games, Regis Jesuit will play host to Chaparral, while Horizon will travel to play Fossil Ridge.
