Moffat County earned a win when they beat Pagosa Springs 21-16 on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Saturday Game.

Kevin Hernandez paced the Moffat County rushing attack by running for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 4 yards per carry.

Grant Aucoin powered Pagosa Springs’ passing attack with 50 yards through the air. Mitch Lewis was also Pagosa Springs’ leading receiver on the day.

Paden Bailey paced all Pagosa Springs rushers with 163 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 6.8 yards per carry. Lewis added 72 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 36 yards per carry, as well as 50 receiving yards.

Pagosa Springs will play host to Montezuma-Cortez, while Moffat County will travel to play Basalt.
