Peetz couldn’t quite keep up with a potent North Park squad, losing by a score of 63-26 on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Destry Schmidt powered North Park’s passing attack with 27 yards through the air. Schmidt also added 122 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Schmidt’s most reliable receiver in the game was Montgomery Ramsey, who caught one pass for 25 yards and one score.
Eli Houston lead all North Park rushers with 156 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 19.5 yards per carry. Brock Follett contributed 89 yards and one touchdown, averaging 11.1 yards per carry.
Peetz quarterback Cooper White led the passing attack with 106 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions. White also added 80 yards on the ground. Nolan Hill lead all Peetz receivers with seven receptions for 96 yards and two scores.
In addition to Cooper White’s effort, Hill paced the Peetz rushing game by accumulating 23 yards in the contest, averaging 11.5 yards per carry. Hill also tacked on 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Park will stay home and play Weldon Valley, while Peetz will travel to play Briggsdale.
