Smoky Hill earned a win when they beat Boulder 43-35 on Thursday at Recht Field, Boulder HS.
Leslie Richardson III led Smoky Hill’s passing attack with 241 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Richardson III’s most reliable receiver in the contest was Alec Pinkowski, who caught four passes for 79 yards and one score. Ryan Hollingsworth got in on the action in the passing game as well, hauling in four passes for 74 yards and one touchdown.
Obasanjo Sanni paced the Smoky Hill rushing attack by running for 125 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 8.9 yards per carry.
Smoky Hill will play host to Denver East, while Boulder will travel to play Prairie View.
