Branson/Kim earned a win when they beat Cotopaxi 28-12 on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Branson/Kim quarterback Kelton Davis led the aerial attack with 91 yards through the air. Branson/Kim’s leading receiver was Teagan Keeler, who caught three passes for 44 yards and one score.

Finn Warner paced the Branson/Kim rushing attack by racking up 106 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.

Ty Coleman led Cotopaxi’s passing attack with 178 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and one interception. Jonah Bertolino got in on the action in the passing game as well, hauling in two passes for 56 yards and one touchdown.

Cotopaxi’s ground attack was paced by Tyler Sawyer who racked up 40 yards in the game. Sawyer also tacked on 78 receiving yards.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Branson/Kim hosting Primero and Cotopaxi taking on Sierra Grande.
