Brush easily handled Fort Lupton by a score of 57-0 on Friday, Oct. 4 at Homecoming.

Brush quarterback Alejandro Maltos-garcia led the passing attack with 144 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns without an interception. Hunter Dunn lead all Brush receivers with one reception for 71 yards and one score. Luke Seewald contributed in the passing game as well, reeling in two balls for 62 yards.

Brush’s rushing game was spearheaded by Nick Wellen who tallied 92 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 9.2 yards per carry. Kyle Wellen added 75 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 37.5 yards per carry. Jayce Kreeger chipped in with 53 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 17.7 yards per carry.

Fort Lupton’s rushing game was lead by Antonio Hernandez who ran for 34 yards in the contest.

Fort Lupton will stay home and play Platte Valley, while Brush will travel to play Sterling.
