Cheyenne Mountain managed to prevail in a low-scoring game against Widefield, 13-0 on Friday, Oct. 4.
Caden Bellew powered Cheyenne Mountain’s passing attack with 159 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Brad Helton lead all Cheyenne Mountain receivers with five receptions for 102 yards.
Preston Morton lead the Cheyenne Mountain rushing attack by running for 85 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.7 yards per carry.
In addition to Marquis Martinez’s effort, Dj Allen paced the Widefield rushing attack by accumulating 4 yards in the contest.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Cheyenne Mountain hosting Pine Creek and Widefield taking on Rampart.
