Manitou Springs couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Elizabeth squad, losing by a score of 61-7 on Friday, Oct. 4.
Vincent Weber led Elizabeth’s passing attack with 58 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Weber also added 55 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Jace Perez lead all Elizabeth receivers with three catches for 37 yards and one score.
Broden Yocum paced the Elizabeth ground attack by accumulating 56 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 18.7 yards per carry.
Dominick Pearson paced the Manitou Springs rushing attack by running for 23 yards in the game.
Manitou Springs will play host to The Classical Academy, while Elizabeth will travel to play La Junta.
