Hoehne couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Fowler squad, losing by a score of 50-8 on Friday, Oct. 4.
Jackson Bates spearheaded the Fowler rushing attack by finishing with 137 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 8.6 yards per carry. Joshua Daniels chipped in with 63 yards and one touchdown, averaging 5.7 yards per carry.
Weston Hill led Hoehne’s passing attack with 131 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and one interception. Hill also added 95 yards on the ground. Hill’s most prolific receiver in the contest was Dario Vezzani, who caught one pass for 41 yards.
In addition to Hill’s effort, Michael Armijo lead the Hoehne rushing attack by gaining 7 yards in the game.
Fowler will play host to Wiley, while Hoehne will travel to play Holly.
