The Pinnacle couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Highland squad, losing by a score of 49-7 on Friday, Oct. 4 at Homecoming.
Holden Morgan lead all Highland rushers with 183 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 20.3 yards per carry. Caleb Polk added 100 yards on the ground, averaging 12.5 yards per carry.
Jason Ulrich powered The Pinnacle’s passing attack with 164 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and two interception. Diego Santander lead all The Pinnacle receivers with seven catches for 164 yards and one score.
Luis Rodriguez paced The Pinnacle ground game by accumulating 64 yards in the game.
The Pinnacle will stay home and play Estes Park, while Highland will travel to play Strasburg.
