Yuma couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Holyoke squad, losing by a score of 34-0 on Friday, Oct. 4.

Miles Sprague led Holyoke’s passing attack with 224 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown without an interception. Holyoke’s leading receiver was Seth Watson, who caught four passes for 97 yards and one score. Luis Chafino contributed in the passing game as well, snagging two passes for 51 yards.

Blake Mosenteen spearheaded the Holyoke ground game by running for 98 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 6.1 yards per carry.

Yuma’s rushing attack was lead by Cayden Lynch who tallied 60 yards in the contest. Clay Robinson added 55 yards on the ground, averaging 5 yards per carry.

Next up for each team, Yuma will stay home and play Limon, while Holyoke will travel to play Burlington.
