Kennedy earned a win when they beat Thornton 35-21 on Friday, Oct. 4 at All City Field, Football Field.
Isaac Sisneros led Kennedy’s passing attack with 165 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns and one interception. Sisneros also added 65 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
In addition to Sisneros’ effort, Elias Horta lead the Kennedy ground game by accumulating 64 yards in the contest, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Horta also tacked on 75 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Shawn Salazar added 61 yards , averaging 6.8 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Kennedy heading to play Lincoln and Thornton taking on Standley Lake.
Thornton has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
