Kit Carson earned a win when they defeated Cheyenne Wells 51-43 on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Cheyenne Wells quarterback Kyle Nelson led the passing attack with 197 yards through the air, throwing four touchdowns without an interception. Cade Mitchek got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in four balls for 84 yards and one touchdown.
Cheyenne Wells’ ground game was paced by Quade Pelton who racked up 32 yards and one touchdown in the contest. Pelton also tacked on 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Kit Carson will stay home and play Walsh, while Cheyenne Wells will travel to play Eads.
