La Junta managed to prevail in a low-scoring contest against Woodland Park, 6-0 on Friday, Oct. 4.

Colin Kucera led Woodland Park’s passing attack with 193 yards through the air. Kucera’s most prolific target in the game was Joey Babin, who caught six passes for 107 yards. Bryson Cox got in on the action in the passing game as well, catching five passes for 66 yards.

Braden Roskam spearheaded the Woodland Park rushing attack by running for 65 yards in the game.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with La Junta hosting Elizabeth and Woodland Park taking on Lamar.

La Junta has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
