Dolores couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Monte Vista squad, losing by a score of 45-6 on Friday, Oct. 4.
Kaidon Wenta led Monte Vista’s passing attack with 90 yards through the air. Wenta also added 132 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Jarren Chavez lead all Monte Vista receivers with three receptions for 90 yards and two scores.
In addition to Wenta’s effort, Levi Trujillo lead the Monte Vista rushing attack by accumulating 42 yards in the contest, averaging 21 yards per carry.
Dolores will play host to Rye, while Monte Vista will travel to play Centauri.
