Sierra couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Pueblo Centennial squad, losing by a score of 43-0 on Friday, Oct. 4 at Dutch Clark Stadium .
Pueblo Centennial quarterback Tony Cardona led the passing attack with 64 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown without an interception. Damerico Gonzales lead all Pueblo Centennial receivers with two catches for 28 yards and one score.
Connor Niccoli paced the Pueblo Centennial ground game by running for 77 yards in the contest, averaging 9.6 yards per carry. Devin Blue added 76 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 10.9 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Pueblo Centennial will stay home and play Durango, while Sierra will travel to play Mitchell.
