Pueblo South easily put away Lewis-Palmer by a score of 46-3 on Friday, Oct. 4.
Logan Petit powered Pueblo South’s passing attack with 97 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Pueblo South’s leading receiver was Jackson Dickerson, who caught three passes for 110 yards and two scores.
George Longoria spearheaded the Pueblo South ground game by running for 115 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 11.5 yards per carry.
Johnny Hudson spearheaded the Lewis-Palmer ground game by finishing with 75 yards in the contest, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Pueblo South heading to play Pueblo East and Lewis-Palmer taking on Thomas Jefferson.
