Vail Christian easily handled Hayden by a score of 54-16 on Friday, Oct. 4 at Eagle Valley High School, Football Field.
Jamison Lee led Vail Christian’s passing attack with 149 yards through the air. Lee also added 51 yards on the ground.
Chris Cappel paced all Vail Christian rushers with 81 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 9 yards per carry. Cappel also tacked on 81 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Vail Christian heading to play Soroco and Hayden taking on Rangely.
