Legacy easily defeated Poudre by a score of 35-14 on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Legacy quarterback Adarius Edwards led the passing attack with 117 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown with no interceptions. Edwards also added 24 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Jacob Duran lead all Legacy receivers with two receptions for 71 yards and two scores.
Dakota Key lead the Legacy ground attack by racking up 198 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 5.7 yards per carry.
Poudre quarterback Sergio Tarango led the passing attack with 129 yards through the air. Tarango also added one touchdown on the ground. Tommy Thomas lead all Poudre receivers with four receptions for 65 yards.
Poudre’s rushing game was paced by Tate Satterfield who tallied 78 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 6 yards per carry. Triston Burkett added 52 yards on the ground, averaging 4.3 yards per carry.
Legacy will play host to Rocky Mountain, while Poudre will travel to play Horizon.
