Sterling easily put away Brush by a score of 41-18 on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Brock Shalla led Sterling’s passing attack with 155 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Shalla’s most relied on target in the contest was Peyton Rose, who caught one pass for 65 yards and one score. Tucker Myers got involved in the passing game as well, catching four balls for 54 yards.

Drew Book spearheaded the Sterling rushing attack by running for 72 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 6.5 yards per carry.

Nick Wellen paced all Brush rushers with 87 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 4.1 yards per carry. Jayce Kreeger added 56 yards on the ground, averaging 8 yards per carry.

Brush will stay home and play Valley, while Sterling will travel to play Platte Valley.
