Sierra Grande couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Cotopaxi squad, losing by a score of 46-14 on Friday, Oct. 11.
Ty Coleman led Cotopaxi’s aerial attack with 109 yards through the air, throwing four touchdowns with no interceptions. Coleman’s most reliable receiver in the game was Frank Ogden, who caught four passes for 62 yards and two scores.
Cotopaxi’s ground attack was lead by Peter Belt who ran for 83 yards in the game, averaging 5.2 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Cotopaxi heading to play Primero and Sierra Grande taking on North Park.
