Pueblo Centennial couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Durango squad, losing by a score of 52-10 on Friday at CSU Pueblo Stadium.
Jordan Woolverton led Durango’s passing attack with 275 yards through the air. Woolverton also added 104 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Ben Finneseth lead all Durango receivers with seven receptions for 110 yards and one score. Durango also got 55 yards receiving and one touchdown from Gage Mestas in the contest.
In addition to Woolverton’s effort, Nate Messier lead the Durangorushing game by racking up 98 yards in the contest, averaging 10.9 yards per carry. Everett Howland added 93 yards , averaging 7.8 yards per carry, in addition to 95 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Durango will stay home and play Pueblo Central, while Pueblo Centennial will travel to play Pueblo East.
