Front Range Christian couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Elbert squad, losing by a score of 46-14 on Friday.

Nathan Tornone powered Elbert’s passing attack with 171 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Tornone also added one touchdown on the ground. Sebastian Rose lead all Elbert receivers with four receptions for 76 yards. Zachary Kieth got involved in the passing game as well, snagging one ball for 56 yards.

Kade Bitterman lead all Elbert rushers with 197 yards and four touchdowns in the contest, averaging 19.7 yards per carry. Bitterman also tacked on 21 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Front Range Christian quarterback Luke Hiltman led the passing attack with 315 yards through the air. Ben Bolz got in on the action in the passing game as well, grabbing six passes for 92 yards and one touchdown. Front Range Christian also got 70 yards receiving from James Davenport in the contest.

Christian Chisholm lead all Front Range Christian rushers with 24 yards in the game. Chisholm also tacked on 140 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Front Range Christian will play host to Justice, while Elbert will travel to play Calhan.
