Lyons couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Flatirons Academy squad, losing by a score of 41-7 on Friday.
Sean Thomas Francisco spearheaded the Flatirons Academy rushing attack by gaining 122 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 24.4 yards per carry. Trevor Ryan added 55 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 18.3 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Flatirons Academy heading to play Highland and Lyons taking on Estes Park.
