McClave handed Las Animas a loss in a 40-20 showdown on Friday, Oct. 11.
Las Animas’ ground attack was lead by Joseph Hawkins and his 76 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries. Caden Morlan chipped in with 75 yards , averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, McClave will play host to Fowler, while Las Animas will travel to play Springfield.
