Skyview couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Mead squad, losing by a score of 48-0 on Friday.
Brady Veltien led Mead’s aerial attack with 88 yards through the air.
Jake Wachter lead the Mead rushing attack by running for 110 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 18.3 yards per carry. Wachter also tacked on 53 receiving yards and one touchdown. Brayden Keys added 92 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 46 yards per carry.
Brandon Gutierrez led Skyview’s passing attack with 71 yards through the air. George Mendoza lead all Skyview receivers with three receptions for 39 yards.
Brian Guevara paced the Skyview rushing attack by racking up 35 yards in the contest.
Looking ahead to their next games, Mead will play host to Northfield, while Skyview will travel to play Denver North.
