John Mall couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Peyton squad, losing by a score of 41-8 on Friday.
Brandon Hussey lead the Peyton rushing attack by racking up 170 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 12.1 yards per carry. West Hart contributed 69 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 8.6 yards per carry.
In addition to Wesley Van Matre’s effort, Francisco Figueroa lead the John Mall ground attack by racking up 29 yards in the contest, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Peyton will stay home and play Rocky Ford, while John Mall will travel to play Crowley County.
