Custer County couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Pikes Peak Christian squad, losing by a score of 58-0 on Friday, Oct. 11.

Jackson Thorne led Pikes Peak Christian’s passing attack with 64 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns and one interception.

Nathan Seay spearheaded the Pikes Peak Christian ground game by finishing with 145 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 24.2 yards per carry. Seay also tacked on 20 receiving yards and one touchdown. Hudson Grant added 106 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 26.5 yards per carry, as well as 33 receiving yards and one touchdown. Zachary Edwards added 74 yards and one touchdown, averaging 74 yards per carry.

In their next games, Custer County will play host to South Park, while Pikes Peak Christian will travel to play Denver Christian.
