Mullen couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Ralston Valley squad, losing by a score of 58-17 on Friday, Oct. 11 at Mullen High School.
Walker Brickle led Ralston Valley’s passing attack with 288 yards through the air. Ben Takata lead all Ralston Valley receivers with five catches for 137 yards and one score. Luke Carlston got in on the action in the passing game as well, grabbing five passes for 62 yards.
Chase Wilson spearheaded the Ralston Valley ground game by finishing with 23 yards and two touchdowns in the contest.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Ralston Valley heading to play Columbine and Mullen taking on Pomona.
