Bishop Machebeuf narrowly lost to Riverdale Ridge in a 15-12 contest on Friday, Oct. 11.
Aidan Burns led Riverdale Ridge’s aerial attack with 103 yards through the air. Burns also added one rushing touchdown. Riverdale Ridge’s leading receiver was Trey Cummings, who caught three passes for 47 yards.
Braylon Fenderson spearheaded the Riverdale Ridge ground game by running for 101 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 7.8 yards per carry.
Ryan Schmitt led Bishop Machebeuf’s passing attack with 78 yards through the air. Schmitt also added one touchdown on the ground. Schmitt’s most reliable receiver in the game was Jack Farmer, who caught one pass for 30 yards.
Darius Richards spearheaded the Bishop Machebeuf ground game by running for 189 yards in the contest, averaging 8.2 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Riverdale Ridge will play host to Kent Denver, while Bishop Machebeuf will travel to play Ridge View Academy.
