Manitou Springs couldn’t quite keep up with a potent The Classical Academy squad, losing by a score of 55-0 on Friday.
The Classical Academy quarterback Sam Guilez led the passing attack with 159 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns without an interception. Garrett Kautz lead all The Classical Academy receivers with three catches for 106 yards and one score.
Cade Palmer lead The Classical Academy ground game by running for 155 yards in the contest, averaging 10.3 yards per carry. Ethan Aragundi added 54 yards on the ground, averaging 13.5 yards per carry.
In their next games, The Classical Academy will stay home and play Elizabeth, while Manitou Springs will travel to play Woodland Park.
