Valley couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Weld Central squad, losing by a score of 24-0 on Friday.
Levi Gerkin paced all Weld Central rushers with 69 yards and three touchdowns in the contest. Zayne Stam added 67 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
Servando Perez led Valley’s aerial attack with 63 yards through the air. Jeff Gore lead all Valley receivers with two catches for 30 yards.
Next up for each team, Weld Central will stay home and play Fort Lupton, while Valley will travel to play Brush.
