Chaparral earned a win when they beat Doherty 35-21 on Thursday.
Konnor Ruth led Chaparral’s passing attack with 115 yards through the air. Ruth also added two touchdowns on the ground. Jake Kiland lead all Chaparral receivers with five catches for 107 yards. Josh Covak got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in two passes for 70 yards and one touchdown.
Zack Lehmann lead all Chaparral rushers with 37 yards and one touchdown in the game.
Chaparral will stay home and play Fountain-Fort Carson, while Doherty will travel to play Regis Jesuit.
