Denver West couldn’t quite keep up with a potent D’Evelyn squad, losing by a score of 44-13 on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Shane Bishop powered D’Evelyn’s passing attack with 236 yards through the air. Bishop also added 39 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Bishop’s most prolific receiver in the game was Thomas Lowry, who caught six passes for 100 yards and two scores. Kase Sundarapura got involved in the passing game as well, reeling in four balls for 74 yards and one touchdown.

Noah Aurich paced all D’Evelyn rushers with 92 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 15.3 yards per carry.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with D’Evelyn hosting Arvada and Denver West taking on Middle Park.
