George Washington couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Evergreen squad, losing by a score of 59-36 on Saturday, Oct. 12 at All City Field, Football Field.

Griffin Lauritano led Evergreen’s passing attack with 355 yards through the air, throwing seven touchdowns with no interceptions. Lauritano also added 48 yards on the ground. Carter Cassin got in on the action in the passing game as well, grabbing four passes for 83 yards and one touchdown.

Noah Martens paced all Evergreen rushers with 120 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 10.9 yards per carry. Martens also tacked on 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Evergreen hosting Lincoln and George Washington taking on Green Mountain.

George Washington has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
