Rock Canyon couldn’t quite keep up with a strong ThunderRidge squad, losing by a score of 30-6 on Thursday, Oct. 17 at EchoPark Stadium.
Brent Huber led ThunderRidge’s aerial attack with 155 yards through the air. Huber also added 65 yards and one touchdown on the ground. ThunderRidge’s leading receiver was Chris Franquemont, who caught three passes for 103 yards and two scores.
Lucas Fish spearheaded the ThunderRidge ground game by running for 110 yards in the game, averaging 4.4 yards per carry.
Anthony Dellanno powered Rock Canyon’s passing attack with 65 yards through the air. Dellanno also chipped in one touchdown on the ground. Zane Sokolowski lead all Rock Canyon receivers with zero receptions for 0 yards.
Brendan Biondino spearheaded the Rock Canyon ground game by gaining 31 yards in the game.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with ThunderRidge heading to play Valor Christian and Rock Canyon taking on Castle View.
