To be the best, you’ve got to beat the best. And sometimes, you’ve got to beat a few others, too. At least, that’s how it worked for undefeated Ralston Valley this week.
After knocking off previous No. 1 Columbine last Friday, the Mustangs moved two spots to No. 2 in — one spot shy of No. 1. The top ranking was reserved for Cherry Creek, which dominated then-No. 8 Eaglecrest 41-3 on the same night, and has now outscored opponents 304-50 through eight weeks.
