Pueblo South easily put away Pueblo County by a score of 38-14 on Friday, Oct. 18 at Hornet Stadium.
Logan Petit led Pueblo South’s aerial attack with 118 yards through the air. Petit’s most prolific target in the game was Jackson Dickerson, who caught six passes for 104 yards.
George Longoria lead the Pueblo South ground game by accumulating 226 yards and four touchdowns in the game, averaging 8.4 yards per carry.
Chase Hartman led Pueblo County’s passing attack with 78 yards through the air. Hartman also added 53 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Corbin Spear lead all Pueblo County receivers with two receptions for 40 yards.
Jose Handford spearheaded the Pueblo County ground game by running for 107 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.4 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Pueblo South hosting Durango and Pueblo County taking on Pueblo East.
