Golden won by a single touchdown in their 21-14 win over Wheat Ridge on Friday, Oct. 25 at NACC .
Joey Mancuso powered Golden’s passing attack with 145 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and three interceptions. Mancuso also added 150 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Golden’s leading receiver was Kevin Mulligan, who caught five passes for 125 yards and one score.
In addition to Mancuso’s effort, Matt Elliott paced the Goldenrushing game by racking up 77 yards in the game, averaging 4.3 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Golden heading to play Bear Creek and Wheat Ridge taking on Dakota Ridge.
